ISRAEL 2026
8 Day Holy Land Encounter - March 7th -14th
Pastor Matt Hudson invites you to join him, as we experience the life and ministry of Jesus through an 8-Day Holy Land Encounter! This journey will help turn the Bible from black and white to color, by walking where Jesus walked!
While in Israel, we will visit places such as The Mount of Beatitudes, Sea of Galilee, The Dead Sea, Jerusalem, Mt of Olives and more! We will have daily messages from Pastor Matt, as well as worship with Brad Hudson from Elevation Church.
We are confident this experience will draw you closer to Christ and deepen your walk with Him in a way that will transform the way you read Scripture!

WHAT ARE THE DATES?
The tour, including flights, will take place March 7th - 14th, 2026.
WHO IS FAITHBASED EXPEDITIONS? HOW CAN I CONTACT THEM DIRECTLY?
Faithbased Expeditions is the travel agency coordinating the booking process for the Encounter. They can provide assistance for all questions regarding registration, payments, and lodging. You can contact them at info@faithbasedexpeditions.com or 206-679-6893.
WHAT ARE THE PAYMENT DEADLINES?
A $500 deposit per person is due at the time of registration.
HOW IS LODGING DETERMINED?
Registration pricing is based on 2 people per room, or double occupancy. If you are traveling alone, you can either be assigned to an available roommate within our group or pay a single-supplement fee of $795. If a roommate is not available, the single-supplement fee will automatically be applied.
WHY IS THE PRICE FOR 1 GUEST HIGHER THAN FOR 2 OR MORE?
Because lodging is based on double occupancy, the rate to register as a single guest is higher because you will receive your own room. If you find someone you would like to room with, please contact Faithbased Exp. and they can assist you with receiving the lower rate.
IF I PURCHASE A SINGLE GUEST PACKAGE, CAN I ADD A ROOMMATE AFTER I HAVE REGISTERED?
Yes, you can add a roommate to your registration, which would lower your overall cost. Please contact Faithbased Exp. directly to do so.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE GOING ON THE TRIP?
The Encounter is created to be an intimate experience for you! We have limited the number of available spots to 55 people (one bus full).
DO I NEED TO HAVE A PASSPORT?
Yes, current and valid passport information will be required.
HOW WILL TRANSPORTATION WORK?
Air-conditioned transportation will be available by bus to and from the airport, hotels, and sites.

Travel insurance is not required but is strongly recommended. Travel Guard travel insurance is available to be added to your package at the time of registration for an additional fee and typically covers cancellations due to illness (before or during the trip) and other events.
WHAT DOCUMENTATION IS NECESSARY FOR TRAVEL TO ISRAEL?
A valid passport with an expiration date no less than 6 months after the return date of the trip is required. There are no exceptions to this policy. A travel visa is not required.
WHAT MEDICAL PREPARATIONS DO I NEED TO TAKE?
There are no specific immunizations or medications that are recommended or required for travel to Israel, but you are welcome to connect with your primary care physician regarding their recommendations for you individually. Please keep in mind that you can buy the equivalent of most standard over-the-counter medicines in Israel. We would also encourage you to inform your health insurance provider that you will be traveling out of the country and to determine your coverage and medical care options while in Israel.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANY SPECIAL CLOTHING OR OTHER ITEMS?
We will provide a list of recommended items and clothing to all trip participants before the trip. We recommend wearing long pants or capris and bringing a jacket, as some holy sites will have stricter clothing requirements (arms and legs covered). Please plan to bring comfortable shoes or sneakers, as there will be a lot of walking.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
March in Israel is the beginning of the spring season, which is generally regarded as the nicest time to visit. The weather should be warm but mild, with temperatures ranging between 60-75*.
HOW MUCH WALKING DO I NEED TO BE PREPARED FOR?
Most activities will include walking. We would recommend wearing comfortable shoes or sneakers each day. Most walks will be lightly to moderately strenuous and there will be breaks throughout the day as you travel to and from sites. Please keep in mind that walks can typically include steps and uneven terrain.
HOW SAFE IS TRAVELING TO ISRAEL?
While Israel is a very safe country to visit and tour, your safety is a top priority. We use various measures to ensure the safety of participants, but we also encourage participants to take precautions they normally would when traveling to another city or country.
